Elena Donovan Mauer is a writer and editor specializing in relationships. She’s written for Self magazine, Modern Bride, and YourTango.com. She co-authored The Good Girl’s Guide to Living in Sin and lives with her husband of six years and their son Ryan in New Jersey.
	Joselin Linder is a writer, filmmaker and coauthor of The Good Girl’s Guide to Living in Sin and Game Based Marketing (with Gabe Zichermann). She is the author of The Purity Test. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her boyfriend and their dog.

Elena and Joselin have been writing together for three years. Their adventure began when Molly Lyons, their agent and friend, brought them together with the idea for writing a book on cohabitation, The Good Girl’s Guide to Living in Sin. Elena, having lived with her now-husband Tony before marriage, and Joselin who had lived with several previous boyfriends and was about to move in with her now-boyfriend and cohabitating partner, Aaron, felt like the challenge was one they could meet. Over email they sent chapters back and forth, editing and adding where needed. Together they pooled their friend bases and interviewed what amounted to hundreds of women over the two books to get the best, most thorough and useful advice possible.

A lot of people ask them what it’s like to write together and they always answer, "It’s so easy!" It helps that they have similar writing styles and sensibilities. And it doesn’t hurt that they find each other very funny.
